The Brewers and their playoff chase may be out of town right now, but American Family Field is still buzzing as the ballpark preps for pop icon P!nk's stadium show on Monday night. 

Making her first return to Brew City since 2019's Fiserv Forum concert, the Grammy-winning pop star – serving as the venue's first female headliner, joined by opening acts Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Grouplove and DJ KidCutUp – is expected to pack the ballpark like a Game 163 between the Brewers and Cubs. That's thanks not only to her hefty setlist of hits spanning decades ("Get the Party Started," "Just Give Me a Reason," "Just Like Fire," "What About Us," just to name a few) but her famous showmanship, putting on a concert that's emotionally sincere and grounded while at the same time spectacular and literally gravity-defying. With all of that, for fans both casual and hardcore, it's bound to be the best Monday night of the year ... but also the busiest, with the concert's timing colliding with work traffic. 

So, to make sure you get this party started on a Monday night and everybody's not waitin' on you to arrive, here's a guide to parking, transportation and more for P!nk's big "Summer Carnival" tour stop next week.  

Parking plans

While the music – starting with all the openers and special guests – won't start inside the stadium until around 6:30 p.m., the parking lots surrounding American Family Field will open three hours before that at 3:30 p.m. And according to Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger, it's recommended to arrive early with rush hour post-work traffic intermixing with concert-goer traffic.

As for parking itself, preferred parking for the concert is sold out for the night, but a limited number of general parking passes are still available at the Brewers' website for $25 through Sunday, Aug. 13. The day of the concert, remaining available general parking passes will cost $35. 

The AmFam Field gates will then open for the show at 5 p.m., leaving plenty of time for ... 

Tailgating

Even without America's pastime on the schedule, it wouldn't be a trip to AmFam Field without busting out a grill, cracking open a few pregame beverages and tailgating in the lots. And indeed, not only is tailgating allowed for Monday night's P!nk show but encouraged. For a map of the lots and restroom locations, click here. 

Alternate transportation

If you want to avoid the hubbub of driving to and fro the stadium and finding a parking spot, there are plenty of other ways to get to AmFam Field and the P!nk concert. Uber and Lyft will be making the rounds, picking up and dropping off fans and concert-goers in the Gantner Lot in the southeast side of the stadium. Old-fashioned taxis will also be able to pick up and drop off at the transit-designated area by Helfaer Field on the northwest side of the ballpark. And like with Brewers baseball games, some bar shuttles will be running the night of the concert to help make the pre-show, post-show and transportation plans a breeze. Here's a list of Brewers bar shuttles – but call the venues beforehand to double check that they'll still be running on a non-game night.
