It’s finally summer! The sun is out, the produce is ripe and leisurely dinners on restaurant patios are waiting for you. That includes a brand new patio dinner series at The Pasta Tree, 1503 N. Farwell Ave.
Revel in the bounty of fresh summer produce at The Pasta Tree’s Secret Garden Party Dinner with guest Chef AJ Dixon.
The special collaborative four-course dinner featuring a menu created by Chef Suzzette Metcalfe of The Pasta Tree and Chef AJ Dixon (formerly of Lazy Susan) will take place on July 25 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on The Pasta Tree’s picturesque Secret Garden patio.
The dinner will kick off with a reception at 5:30 p.m. featuring a cocktail and peach crostini topped with whipped ricotta, pecan bacon gremolata and hot honey.
Dinner courses will include:
- Arancini Duo: beet and bleu cheese arancini, crab and artichoke arancini and lemon aioli
- Summer Salad: Peas, radish, pickled rhubarb, greens, 100 Acre mixed greens, hazelnuts, goat cheese, honey poppyseed dressing
- Chanterelle Pasta: Chanterelle-infused handmade pasta, charred corn and scallions, chanterelle mushrooms, seared hanger steak, basil butter
- Summer Berry Short Cake with rose scented mascarpone cream and summer berries
The dinner is $150 per person and includes the reception cocktail, appetizer, four courses and wine pairings (tax and gratuity also included). Make your reservation online or by calling the restaurant directly at (414) 276-8867.
