Milwaukee County Parks Director Sue Black has been named this year's Wisconsin Park and Recreation Association "Park Professional of the Year."

The award was presented at the WPRA Annual Fall Conference, held Nov. 1-4 in Green Bay.

Black was chosen by a committee of her peers after receiving a nomination from a WPRA staff member. Her work includes providing articles for their national publication and appearing as a guest speaker for WPRA conferences and workshops.
