It's official, the Green Bay Packers will host the National Football Conference Championship game.
By virtue of top-seeded Dallas Cowboys' 21-17 loss to the New York Giants in the Divisional Playoff, home field advantage shifts to the Packers, who will face the Giants Sunday at 5:30 p.m.
The Packers and Giants met in week two of the regular season at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Green Bay erased a 10-7 halftime defict and rolled to a 35-13 victory.
In that game, Favre opened the second half with 14 straight completions and connected with Bubba Franks and Donald Lee to cap off 51- and 80-yard drives. He completed 18 of 21 attempts for 147 yards and three touchdowns in the second half and was 29-of-38 for 286 yards on the day and finished with a passer rating of 112.4.
The victory was Favre's 149th, which made him the all-time winningest quarterback in NFL history.
