Country music star Sara Evans is the latest to take the (virtual) stage for the Pabst Theater Group's #ReviveLiveMKE live music streaming series, performing on Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m.
Evans will perform songs off of her new record, "Copy That," as well as some of her past hits (such as "A Little Bit Stronger, "Born to Fly" and more) and maybe even some requests as well during the streamed live show.
Started earlier this month, #ReviveLiveMKE is an initiative bringing the closest thing we have to live music to Milwaukee concert fans while also helping support the Pabst Theater Group's temporarily closed venues – as well as the musicians whose summer tours and live music plans had to be canceled or postponed – during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The series began with indie rock artist Japanese Breakfast on Thursday, May 14.
Tickets for Sara Evans' show are on sale at the Pabst Theater's website, with all proceeds going toward supporting the artist and the shuttered venues during these uncertain times.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
