Olive Fine Organic Living, 2624 N. Downer Ave., will most likely close on Saturday, Jan. 31. Owner Michael Katarincic says he would prefer to keep the shop open, but doesn’t see it working out.

"The Downer location was once a great shopping destination, but now, people come here for restaurants, not to shop," says Katarincic.

Katarincic, who originally opened the organic / natural clothing and home items shop in Mequon in 2008, says there’s a chance he will move the shop online.

"For now, I have a lot of great inventory in the shop and everything is on sale," he says.

The Downer store opened in 2011.
