Under new Executive Chef Grant Slauterbeck, the Iron Horse Hotel's Smyth restaurant is introducing a new menu and new look for summer 2013.
Now established as indoor dining space to outdoor bard The Yard, Smyth underwent enhancements in May and now features a rustic chic decor reminiscent of the art of blacksmithing. Photography by Matthew Haas adorns the walls, depicting the work of Kewaskum blacksmith Dan Nauman.
The new menu offers seasonal cocktail specials like house-made sangria and summer shandy as well as dishes like Russian Roulette (house-made pigs-in-a-blanket, one of which is stuffed with habanero peppers), foie gras popcorn balls, chicken wings with house-made doughnuts, lobster deviled eggs, miller farms chicken and a variety of flatbreads.
