Netflix announced its arrivals and departures for next month this week, and while the service may be losing a lot, that doesn't mean the Big Red Streaming Behemoth won't still have some fireworks in July.
There's plenty of hits, from Disney's "The Princess Diaries" (enjoy it on Netflix while it lasts!) to "Jurassic Park" – in case the new "Jurassic World" movie gives you a hankering for an actually GOOD movie about rampaging dinosaurs. There's also the Adam Sandler comedy classic "Happy Gilmore" for those who are not too good for their home.
There's several Oscar nominees dropping onto the service from "Her" to "An Education" to the Johnny Depp double feature of "Chocolat" and "Finding Neverland." And on the complete opposite side of the cinematic spectrum, there's also "Stealth," "Swordfish" and "Van Helsing." Oh, and "Boondock Saints" will be added to Netflix too, if you're into that sort of thing.
Of course, there's also the Netflix originals – though this month is a little light on marquee titles exclusive to the network. There's season six of Netflix staple "Orange is the New Black" and the latest star-studded installments of Jerry Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee."
There's also "Extinction," an Michael Pena/Lizzy Caplan apocalyptic sci-fi thriller that was once a theatrical release from a major studio, but was instead swiped up by the streaming behemoth. And if that sentence is giving you PTSD-like flashbacks to "The Cloverfield Paradox," well, you're not alone.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film.
