Earlier this week, OnMilwaukee announced Nashville North was taking over the former Up & Under, 1214 E. Brady St. Today, we received more information about the new spot.

Nashville North will open at some point this fall and, according to the press release, will open "post-pandemic (and) under no restrictions."

The bar, restaurant and music venue will offer live music from all genres, including a house band with local musicians. Weekly open mic and karaoke sessions are also on tap.

Nashville North will serve meals and late-night bites including rotisserie chicken, barbecue ribs, Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, gourmet hot dogs, pulled pork cheese fries and more. There will be a limited breakfast/brunch menu on weekends.

The space will be completely rehabbed including an open-air, garage-style door that can be opened during agreeable weather. Construction will start as soon as permits have been granted.

The owner, Jeff Marsh, has experience in live music with stages and operations at Summerfest and State Fair’s Charcoal Grill Roadhouse.
