If you are viewing "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" on Amazon Prime, then you clearly already have good taste and a sense of humor. So most likely you will appreciate this tidbit of trivia.
And it's the little things, especially in times like these, right?
Last June, Milwaukee's Shari Solheim sold the show's Brooklyn-based prop department a vintage Stethoscope from her Ebay store.
"I sold it to them for $24.99," says Solheim, who in the past also sold vintage shoes to fashion designers Victoria Beckham and Michael Kors.
So if you're watching "Mrs. Maisel," keep a look out for the medical instrument. Snap a photo if you can of the scene and post to social media with #MilwaukeeMaisel and tag OnMilwaukee.
Of course, this is not the show's only connection to our city: the actor who plays Mrs. Maisel, Rachel Brosnahan, was born in Milwaukee and lived here until she was 4 years old. Her family then moved to Highland Park, Ill.
Amazon dropped the first two episodes of the popular show last week and will drop more again on Friday, Feb. 25. The stethescope did not appear in the first two episodes, so it may appear in upcoming episodes or even in the fifth and final season that's currently in production.
Let's spot this Stethoscope, Milwaukee!
