The always dazzling and inspiring Mount Mary University fashion show will soon unfold. The theme for the 2025 event, “Urban Oasis,” will showcase stark industrial elegance with vibrant organic flourishes.

The 2025 CREO (Latin for “to make, create, produce") student fashion design show will take place at 1, 5 and 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 9, in the Alumnae Dining Room of Bergstrom Hall on the Mount Mary campus, 2900 Menomonee River Pkwy.

Highlights include experimental “zero-waste” and collaborative projects with Wisconsin Sea Grant, an organization dedicated to eliminating plastic waste from waterways. The collaboration is made possible by a grant through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

The show will also feature winners of the annual Uniquely Yours contest, which challenges high school students to creatively “upcycle” materials into runway garments.
