Five Wisconsin towns are featured in Money Magazine's 2011 "100 Best Places to Live in America" list. The list is online and in the September print edition.
To compile the list, Money "spent months combing through reams of data provided by OnBoard Informatics and other sources and fanning out across the country to identify small towns (less than 50,000 population) that stand out in the qualities American families care the most about."
Middleton ranked No. 8, Whitefish Bay No. 65, Germantown No. 71, Franklin No. 94 and Oregon No. 99.
Louisville, CO rated No. 1 on the annual list.
