{image1} Milwaukee restaurateur John Vassallo has slathered the city with steaks, seafood and Italian cuisine -- all in the name of Mo. And his latest mo-licious venture, Mocha -- A Coffee bistro, 124 W. Wisconsin Ave., rounds out his delicious empire with cozy quarters and plenty of sweet treats.

Inside, there's a menu packed with usual coffee bar beverages, but The Signature Mocha, Milky Way, Spiced Mocha, Mocha's Macchiato and other Mocha classics spice up the coffees, teas and ciders.

Also on tap are blended and iced drinks such as the Iced Nutty Orange Latte and Espresso Bean Shake. Amaretto, almond, hazelnut and other syrups allow you to tailor your drink to your taste buds, along with a variety of milks including soy.

But the bitter or sweet drinks are best when paired with bakery or homemade desserts -- taken off Mo's restaurants' menus. And the earth-toned, chocolate-y décor looks almost as yummy as the indulgences behind the glass counter, but not quite.

Sit on the pillow-y cushioned couch in back for a fireside chat with friends while you sip. Or, for a little entertainment, bust out the Chinese Checkers, Yahtzee, Monopoly, Candyland, Scrabble, Uno or other games.

No time for fun and games? No worries. Mocha is a Wi-Fi hotspot, so getting your Web work done is no problem.

This new urban but comfy coffee joint is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call (414) 27-MOCHA for mo' details. The Web site, mosmocha.com will be up and running soon, but for now visit mosrestaurants.com for information on any of Johnny V's Milwaukee establishments.
