This was the first Amateur Cup Championship in the club's 38-year history. After falling behind 1-0, former Milwaukee Rampage star Dan Stebbins tied the game in the 41st minute on a head ball goal. Former Wave United player Nick Walls scored the winner at the 60th minute before McGuire's goals to finish off the game. The Kickers, currently in 1st place of the WSA Major Division, now travel to Dayton, Ohio on June 23-25 for the Region II Tournament.
"For our club, this is a great day. A long time coming," said Aleks Nikolic, a founder of the Milwaukee Kickers. "These days are special and our club is excited to be representing the state of Wisconsin."
