Looking out my window last night it was hard to escape the new glowing lights on the side of the M&I Bank building at 770 N. Water St.  The lights were complied, creatively like a huge guitar.  Very cool.

You must check this out, and other Downtown building should take note and strive to out do M&I (to be fair Northwestern Mutual as a big "150" on one of its buildings.  It's a nice touch for the company's 150th anniversary).  These two 18-story electric guitars, are -- of course -- in tribute to Summerfest. Nearly 940 windows on the south and west sides of the building are lit to take the shape of huge electric guitars.

M&I is the sponsor of the Classic Rock Stage and its building will host the guitars every night for the entire run of Summerfest.
