Just in time for the weekend (and Mother’s Day), Mason Street Grill has rolled out a brunch menu, which will be on offer every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Their new brunch menu has a bit of something for everyone, from shareable items for the table to indulgent brunch dishes, lunch-worthy fare and a menu of coffee drinks, cocktails and a bloody mary bar to top it all off.
Eat well
Guests can start off brunch with shareable options like a basket of shareable housemade breads and brunch pastries like lemon ricotta coffeecake, spudnuts (potato doughnuts), blueberry muffins and banana chocolate chip bread ($14). There are also options like shrimp cocktail ($24); a smoked salmon platter with toasted brioche, red onions and crème fraiche ($18); or even Mason Street Grill’s popular fried surf clams served with tartar sauce and fries ($14).
From there, go classic with The Mason Street Grill Eggs Benedict featuring crumpets piled with thick-cut cherry-smoked bacon, two poached eggs, hollandaise, and Delmonico potatoes ($24).
Waffle lovers will find a Yukon sourdough waffle stuffed with bacon and served with butter and Wisconsin (or sans bacon with fresh strawberries and mascarpone cream) for $20; Or kick it up a notch by topping your waffle with a southern fried chicken thigh and a choice of Wisconsin maple syrup or hot honey and honey mustard ($22).
There’s also a three-egg omelet stuffed with Maine lobster and fines herbs and served with a side of Delmonico potatoes ($35); or dive into their classic croque madame featuring toasted brioche, sliced ham, Gruyere and Emmental cheeses, parmesan crisp, mornay sauce and a topping of two fried eggs ($25).
There are also options like Chilaquiles Rojos topped with two eggs and served with guacamole, queso anejo, red onion ($18); or stir fried ginger-garlic rice with Longanisa sausage, Sriracha mayo, Fresno chilies, shiitake mushrooms, two fried eggs and edamame ($22).
Drink well
On the drink side, guests will find a wide range of options from bottles of bubbly to bubbly-based drinks like the Hitchcock Mimosa featuring Schramsberg Blanc de Noir, Grand Marnier, orange juice and Mandarin ($24).
Signature bloody marys – featuring vodka, gin, whiskey or tequila – are available, complete with delicious garnishes. Or guests can take advantage of Mason Street Grill’s build-your-own Bloody Mary option.
There are also craft cocktail like the 7AM in Maui (Diplomatico Dark Rum, Cointreau, Almond Alchemist Orgeat, lime, pineapple and Gosling's 151, $17) as well as coffee drinks like the Bourbon Express Martini (Buffalo Trace Bourbon, espresso, Kahlua, maple syrup, $18). Zero-proof brunch drinks are also available.
