The Milwaukee Art Museum opens its doors for another Target Free First Thursday on Aug. 2. This month, it is also giving visitors a chance to support local artists.

All visitors to the MAM receive free admission to the museum from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. While there, guests can also make a cash or check donation to help the victims of July 17's Center Street fire in Riverwest.

Checks should be made out to MARN, the Milwaukee Artist Resource Network, who has set up an emergency fund for the artists affected by the fire.
