We're doing something this afternoon that's never been attempted in Milwaukee: a live blog and chat from 38,000 feet, using AirTran's new wi-fi service to post an article en route from Milwaukee to Atlanta.

We're speaking with comedian Mark Malkoff, who you might have seen on Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report." Malkoff, who last year lived in an IKEA store for a week, and also visited every Starbucks in Manhattan in one day, is undertaking a new stunt this week. He'll spend an entire month flying on AirTran, taking up to a dozen flights daily. The PR gimmick, he says, will help him conquer his fear of flying.

OnMilwaukee.com's Managing Editor Bobby Tanzilo and Senior Editor Drew Olson will accompany Malkoff on the flight to Atlanta at 4:15 p.m., and they'll use in-air wi-fi to chat with the comedian. They'll also test out the new service, reporting on download speeds, customer reaction and any other hiccups in this brand-new and unique service.

The chat will begin as soon as flight attendants clear Tanzilo and Olson to log on.
