Another Gallery Night and Day showcasing some of the best of Milwaukee’s creative culture is returning on Friday, July 22 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, July 23 form 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Along with participating galleries and venues across the city, 2A Wine Merchants, 577 E. Erie St., will be hosting a very special event to coincide with the artful festivities.
Lines and Vines, a celebration of tattoo art and wine, will take place at the local wine shop on Saturday, July 23 from 1 to 7 p.m.
The event will feature $10 glass pour specials from the creative and decidedly nonconformist folks at BK Wines in Adelaide, Australia, including both their Skin & Bones Pinot Noir and Yandra Chardonnay.
The event will also feature a very special appearance by Positronic Tattoo, 1918 E. Capitol Dr. who will be showcasing print art for purchase from owner Todd Gnacinski and his team, as well as offering onsite tattooing services for guests.
Tattoo appointments will be available on the hour throughout the event, with designs available for $75 or $125. Guests will have their choice of a selection of custom tattoo designs (sampled below) which capture both the grit and unwielding passion of 2A Wine Merchants through imagery taken from 2A branding or created by Gnacinski.
All guests who choose to get inked during the event will also receive 20% off of any in-store purchases made that day.
For more information or to make reservations for tattoo services during the event, email Rob at rob@2awinemerchants.com.
