Netflix recently announced its list of departures for February – and hopefully you haven't fallen in love with any of the following notable movies and TV shows breaking up with the Big Red Streaming Monolith over the next month.

The month of Valentine's Day will be particularly heartbreaking for sci-fi fans on Netflix, with big name favorites like "Prometheus" and "Snowpiercer" getting launched out of the streaming service's orbit. That also includes 2021's star-studded "Dune" movie – so if you're planning on catching up before the new film arrives next month, (*uses the voice*) do it sooner than later. Speaking of critically acclaimed Denis Villeneuve movies, the gorgeously shot crime drama "Prisoners" will no longer be locked and chained to Netflix either. And for a prison break of a completely different nature, the animated adventure "Chicken Run" will bust out of the streaming service's library as well, now that Netflix is done unceremoniously burying allegedly releasing its brand new sequel without a trace.
