Now that it's in its second year, Lakefront Brewery's Fall Fest of Ale can officially call itself "annual."
From 10 a.m. (it's 5 o'clock somewhere!) until 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, the outdoor space around Lakefront Brewery, 1872 N. Commerce St. in Brewers Hill, will become a lively mix of food trucks – including the CurdWagon – makers market, family fun and, of course, beer and other beverages.
There will be art, crafts, live music, pumpkin bowling and glitter tatts for the kids, plus tea, coffee, hot cocoa, hot apple cider, pumpkin shandies, Bloody Marys and, yes, beer made right there, as well as at Black Husky, Gathering Place and Company Brewing.
The four breweries are members of the Riverwest Brewery Syndicate, which recently brewed a neighborhood collaboration beer.
Beer geeks will be excited to dig through the gems on sale at the Lakefront Brewery rummage tent, which will be full of collectibles.
You can also get Fall Fest of Ale tees screen printed right on site, within your sight. You get a free shirt (one per person) when you spend $5 on any food or beer.
The exclusive Fall Fest of Ale tasting glass is $5 and includes the first fill. But you'll want to sample more because Lakefront will have five "unique, autumn-inspired cask beers available only at the Fall Fest of Ale."
While you're there, be sure to check out Kegnado!
