Strong west winds gusting over 30mph Friday will gradually diminish Friday night. Sunshine makes a brief return Saturday only to be covered back up by clouds Sunday. Warmest day next week appears to be Monday, when high temps will reach upper 50s, normal for this time of year. Back to cooler than normal temperatures for the rest of the week

The National Weather Service will issue a TEST tornado WATCH at 1 p.m. on Friday and a TEST tornado WARNING at 1:45 p.m. on Friday. The drill will end at 2 p.m.

The National Weather Service says the tests "will not be sent as a Wireless Emergency Alert on mobile devices such as smart phones."
