Food and wine lovers won’t want to miss the 14th annual Kohler Food & Wine Experience, a four-day extravaganza of food, wine and fun. In fact, if you haven’t already purchased tickets for select events, now is the time, as many events are already sold out.

Over the weekend of Oct. 23-26, more than 9,000 visitors, a multitude of celebrity chefs and food vendors will descend upon the normally sleepy town of Kohler.

The festival kicks off with the Kohler Chefs’ Challenge on Thursday evening. And both Friday and Saturday feature wine and tasting classes as well as cooking demonstrations from local chefs Justin Carlisle of Ardent, Bradford Shovlin of the Iron Horse Hotel, Stefano Viglietti of Trattoria Stefano in Sheboygan, Lynn Chisholm of The Paddock Club in Elkhart Lake, Christopher Mangless of Three Three Five in Green Bay, Nicole Pederson of Found in Chicago and Rick Tramonto of Chicago’s Tru.

Our Bobby Tanzilo will offer up profiles of Chisholm and Shovlin when OnMilwaukee.com's Dining Month kicks off Oct. 1.

Celebrity classes include a cooking demonstration with Graham Elliot and Iron Chef’s Geoffrey Zakarian,  Comfort Foods with America's Test Kitchen’s Christopher Kimball, Bridget Lancaster and Jack Bishop, and Shake & Stir with Chef Stephanie Izard of Chicago’s The Girl & the Goat

In addition to ticketed events, guests can enjoy complimentary demonstrations and tastings at various locations throughout the resort such as The Shops at Woodlake, Kohler Design Center and Woodlake Market.

A Friday Day Pass, available for $213 includes the option to choose two Main Stage events, a Wine Seminar and a Midwest Chef’s Stage Event. This day pass also includes a ticket to Shake and Stir with Stephanie Izard on Friday night and a voucher for four Kohler Food & Wine Experience vintage wine glasses.

Saturday passes, also $213, include two Main Stage events, a Wine Seminar and a Midwest Chef’s Stage Event. This day pass also includes a ticket to On the Rocks-Late Night Party and a voucher for four Kohler Food & Wine Experience vintage wine glasses.
