Milwaukee's soul regents, Kings Go Forth have announced another European and American tour, the latter of which includes two Milwaukee dates.
After the tour, the band will go back into the studio to work on a follow-up to last year's "The Outsiders Are Back." Read more about that here in my conversation with bassist Andy Noble.
The U.S. tour kinda sorta opens on July 30 with a show at Brady Street Festival, though the band's first out of town date isn't actually until Aug. 20 when it performs as the Hot August Blues and Roots Festival in Cockeysville, Md.
A week later, KGF is in St. Louis and on Sept. 16 the band hits Chicago's Double Door before returning home to play Discovery World on Sept. 17.
On Sept. 23, the tour really kicks off in Portland, Ore., and wends it way to Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and four nights at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas, baby.
The band wraps up the U.S. leg in the Midwest in October, playing Minneapolis and Madison, before heading over to Europe at the end of the month to play in Belgium, France, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
