Entrepreneurs Ed and Amy Seckinger are no strangers to the start up world. They're no strangers to me either as I've known Amy and her family my entire life.
The Delafield couple owned a restaurant (Piano Blu), sold and marketed several products and worked most their lives for various start up and entrepreneurial companies.
I was with the Seckingers and my family on Christmas Day, and Amy mentioned to me that their new endeavor, Keepers Frames, was growing and had nabbed a spot on the Home Shopping Network.
The couple is currently in Florida getting ready to go live on HSN on Tuesday, Jan. 4 at about 8 a.m., noon and 4 p.m. So, I'm telling you to tune in. Local couple makes Home Shopping Network (Channel 95 on Time Warner Cable in Milwaukee). Very cool.
Keepers Frames is, indeed, a cool idea. An assortment of patent pending frames that help preserve and capture life's special moments. One of the Keepers, Corkeeper, holds a wine or champagne cork, a 4 x 6 picture and a signature card on the back to log your special memory. So many memories are created over a bottle of wine or champagne -- weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, engagements and toasting to this past New Year's celebration. There are a ton of Keeper frames for about everything from hunting, fishing, baseball, tennis, lacrosse, hockey, pets, military, baby's first haircut and more.
Memories should be saved and shared, and the Seckingers hope to help you do just this with their new business.

He owns a condo in Downtown and lives in greater Milwaukee with his wife Stephanie, his son, Jake, and daughter Pierce. He's a political, music, sports and news junkie and thinks, for what it's worth, that all new movies should be released in theaters, on demand, online and on DVD simultaneously.
