It's been a good Monday for KatyCats (hey, don't look at me; that's what they're called).
First, Katy Perry announced her new album, "Witness," would come out on June 9.
She then followed up that news with the announcement of her new arena tour, which will hit Milwaukee's BMO Harris Bradley Center on Dec. 4.
The December show will mark Perry's first performance in Milwaukee since headlining the Marcus Amphitheater at Summerfest in 2011. Much has happened since that candy-colored concert, most recently releasing two new hit singles "Chained to the Rhythm" and "Bon Appetit" (featuring Migos), as well as an anthem for NBC's recent Summer Olympics coverage, "Rise."
Registration for the "Witness: The Tour" pre-sale is now open through Tuesday, May 16. The pre-sale will then run on Thursday, May 18, from 9 a.m. until noon. There will also be a Citi card pre-sale from Thursday, May 18 at noon until Saturday, May 20 at 10 p.m.
Tickets will then go on sale to the general public beginning Monday, May 22 at 10 a.m.
For more information on tickets and the tour, visit Katy Perry's website.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
