Here's a little ditty 'bout John Mellencamp, who now has two Milwaukee shows coming up in the heartland – at the Riverside Theater on April 10-11, to be exact.
The Grammy-winning Americana singer-songwriter and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer most recently performed in the Brew City in 2019, hitting the Riverside for a night of hits old and new – including "Jack and Diane," "Pink Houses" and "Small Town."
Tickets for Mellencamp's duo of 8 p.m. performances will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, at the Pabst Theater Group's website.
And while you're waiting for the show to come around, consider perhaps buying one of the Pabst Theater's historic chairs – not only to own an awesome Milwaukee museum piece but to also help out animals in need, as 100 percent of the profits will go toward the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC). As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
