If life were normal, John Krasinski would be celebrating the second weekend of his highly-anticipated horror sequel "A Quiet Place II," probably making the late night talk show rounds, swapping goofy stories about filming and probably playing The Quiet Game with James Corden or Jimmy Fallon. As we are all fully aware by now, though, life is very abnormal right now – but while his big hit movie is in socially distanced limbo, another Krasinski project has made it to screens across the globe – a significantly smaller movie but one just as crowd-pleasing, if not more so.

Filmed in an actual home office, "Some Good News" features "The Office" star putting on his best newsman voice and hosting a goofball news broadcast of exclusively happy news – but while the newscast is fake, the inspiring and heartwarming internet stories the 15-minute clip contains are not. In the hopes of making things a little bit brighter out there, Krasinski runs through some of the better sides of humanity we've seen during these trying times, from thousands of sequestered people applauding their healthcare workers together to families uniting even in isolation and people just being good and kind to their fellow man. 

And, as a bonus burst of positivity and fun, Krasinski performs a charming Zoom interview with his fellow "Office" co-star Steve Carell, reminiscing about their hit sitcom and their favorite moments in honor of the show's 15th anniversary.

So sit back, relax (as much as one can these days) and enjoy this break from the outbreak with a collection of positivity and pleasant behavior – and also Krasinski's Boston accent occasionally poking through. And, much like "A Quiet Place," it sounds like this will get a sequel too. 

Clearly, as far as celebrity viral coronavirus videos go, it's definitely one of the more charming entries – mainly because no one at any point sings "Imagine."
