The Amp will rock this summer well after the Big Gig, as the lakefront venue announced rock legend John Fogerty will bring his "Celebration" tour, playing the songs of Creedence Clearwater Revival and beyond, to town on Friday, Aug. 2.
The "Fortunate Son," "Bad Moon Rising" and "Centerfield" icon will be joined at the Milwaukee tour stop by supporting acts George Thorogood & The Destroyers ("Bad to the Bone") and Hearty Har.
Tickets for the Amp tour stop will go on sale beginning Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster as well as in person at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater box office. For more information on the show, click here.
