Marquette continues its drive toward the NIT’s Final Four tonight as it plays Penn State at the Al McGuire Center.

And, say what you will, my school (yep, I’m a Marquette guy) is one of only 24 Division I men's college basketball teams still playing in March. Sure, I’d rather be in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament, but wins are wins and any ride to a title is fun.

Speaking of fun, thanks to Fox 6’s Ted Perry for bringing this to my attention: It seems former Marquette and NBA sharpshooter (and current Milwaukee Bucks TV analyst) Steve Novak had a bet with his former New York Knicks teammate, Jeremy Lin.

Lin, a Harvard grad who currently plays with the Brooklyn Nets, had to settle a bet with Novak after the first round of the NIT, when MU beat his Harvard Crimson, 67-60.

Lin paid off the wager by singing the Marquette fight song, "Ring out Ahoya," to Novak (and all of us) via Twitter. Watch it below:

Go Marquette!
