With "Aquaman" becoming a holiday hit, becoming the highest grossing DC movie and heading toward the beloved $1 billion mark worldwide, Jason Momoa's been riding high the past month. And now he's riding in style, as the movie star traded out seahorses for hogs on a recent trip to Milwaukee to see the Harley-Davidson Museum.
Momoa posted several photos and videos of his stop to Instagram, featuring several shots of the HD Museum's retro bikes – including Elvis Presley's 1956 KH motorcycle, in honor of the rock star's birthday – a few videos of the "Aquaman" star audibly drooling over engines and motorcycles, and, of course, a photo of Khal Drago rocking a cheesehead. According to FOX6, the clip of Momoa gazing at rows of shiny new engines took place at the company's Menomonee Falls factory.
The Instagram post also included a brief ode to Wisconsin, thanking Harley-Davidson for helping check one item off his bucket list as well as showing love to Wisconsin and "amazing" Milwaukee.
According to Momoa's Instagram, Momoa is currently rolling through the Midwest to visit family, although the "Aquaman" star was born in Hawaii, he grew up in Norwalk, Iowa.
We just have one thing to say in response to all of this:
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
