In life, certain hardships can be obstacles that may not allow us to go and do everything we set out to do.

We may not all be able to walk, run or get to where ever we want to go. Different ailments may cause us to not be able to participate in certain activities or be successful at certain occupations.

But, if you ever work with children who are encumbered by these sort of obstacles, always be ready to be blown away by what they are able to accomplish.

Area attorney David Gruber is working with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in an effort to not only let children meet a current sports hero, but they are making an impact, highlighting some of the special efforts area organizations accomplish to make a difference in our communities.

"Both Aaron and I feel very strongly that our ‘children are our future’ and are proud to highlight organizations that are truly making a difference in the lives of ‘our children,’" Gruber writes, explaining what he seeks to accomplish in a special digital effort called ItsAaron.com.

The production crew just launched the latest episode, where Rodgers makes music with Kelly at The Pabst Theater, and interviews her about what the teenager does with Independence First.

You can see the latest effort here or below.

ELECTIONS: Although, there are only a handful of local elections on Tuesday night, the spotlight will be on a number of high-profile races in other states that will have an impact on the national stage.

"Lou Dobbs Tonight" will be a live edition starting around 9 p.m. locally.
