OnMilwaukee partnered with The Iron Horse Hotel to show you some of the best it offers. Get revved up and get over there!
For the last 10 years, The Iron Horse Hotel has perfected its panache for parties, from hosting Milwaukee’s first-ever Repeal of Prohibition party to throwing the city’s still-largest Kentucky Derby event.
Thus, it’s fitting that the hotel is throwing a "night of revelry" to commemorate its 10th birthday. On Friday, Sept. 14, from 7 p.m. to midnight, The Iron Horse Hotel will host a special "thank you" party for its friends, guests and city of Milwaukee.
The event is free and open to the public.
Festivities include beats by DJ Shawna in The Yard, the hotel's urban – yet also lush and secluded – patio. Guests will enjoy complimentary sparkling wine, along with a Veuve champagne bar.
Inside, Branded will host an art show by Milwaukee’s Timo Gallery, featuring the legends of rock 'n' roll. The lobby will feature a model on the famed hotel swing and a pop-up shop by local jewelry designers Canela-Canela.
Throughout the evening, the hotel will have spontaneous giveaways of 10 complimentary room nights, 10 limited-edition The Iron Horse Hotel + MilwaukeeHome tees, 10 $100 bar tabs and more. Prior to the party, the public can win prizes through instragram.com/theironhorsehotel.
"We are so enormously proud of how the Milwaukee community has embraced this hotel for the past 10 years. This concept was new and Milwaukee took a chance on us. Not only have we become a destination for dining, cocktailing and staycations, but our yearly parties have become Milwaukee traditions. We could not be more thankful," says Iron Horse Hotel General Manager Brian Fahey.
See you there, Milwaukee.
