Thanks to a partnership between Oatly!, Interval and Pilcrow Coffee, out-of-work baristas can continue to practice their crafts and keep their palates sharp during these tough times.
Beginning Saturday, May 2, baristas can pick up free Barista Survival Kits, available on a first-come first-served basis (while supplies last). Kits contain products from Oatly!, Pilcrow, Rishi Tea & Botanicals and culinary pairings from Interval Chef Brian Dubowski.
"These baristas have become part of our daily lives," says Ryan Hoban, owner and roaster at Pilcrow Coffee and Interval. "They know us by name and remember each of our unique preferences as well as turning us on to the newest roasts and the stories behind the beans."
In the meantime, guests can continue to purchase coffee from Interval, including selections from Ethiopia, Costa Rica and Columbia along with high pressure pasteurized bottles of award-winning Pilcrow cold brew, sweet and creamy and seasonal offerings like oat chai.
The cafe is also offering a full slate of food specials on Saturdays and Sundays from Chef Dubowski, who also works at the University Club of Milwaukee. Menus change every weekend and include a variety of cafe comfort foods alongside an eclectic mix of special offerings you won’t see at your average neighborhood coffee shop.
