Snuggle up with some holiday cheer as OnMilwaukee shares stories of everything merry and bright in the spirit of the season.

The beloved Canadian Pacific Holiday Train returned to the rails last year after a COVID-induced pause, but the train is back on track to visit the Milwaukee area again this year.
The bedazzled train will arrive at the track crossing on Harwood Avenue, just south of the Menomonee River, in Wauwatosa Village at 4 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 4 to benefit the local Tosa Cares food pantry.
In addition to train cars adorned with holiday lights and decorations, the stop will also feature live music by Tenille Townes and Breland, and, of course, an appearance by Santa himself will make an appearance.
The train will depart Tosa around 4:45 p.m.
There's no fee to see and enjoy the train, but donations of healthy, non-perishable food items and cash will be collected at the event for Tosa Cares at these locations:
- Homestead Realty, 7734 Harwood Ave., which will also accept donations in advance of the event
- Root Common Park, at Harwood and Wauwatosa Avenues
- State Street between Underwood and Wauwatosa Avenues
- And local Girl Scouts will move through the crowd collecting donations

“This family event has always been a huge hit in our community, and it benefits an important cause. The funds and food donations raised will stay right here, helping families in need in Wauwatosa.”
The holiday fun in Wauwatosa doesn't end with the train.
The annual tree lighting ceremony startis at 5 p.m. on Dec. 6 at Root Common Park and the Wauwatosa Holiday Market, a new European-style Christmas market, hosts a grand opening the same day at 6:30 p.m. in the Harts Mills parking lot, 7735 Harwood Ave.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he lived until he was 17, Bobby received his BA-Mass Communications from UWM in 1989 and has lived in Walker's Point, Bay View, Enderis Park, South Milwaukee and on the East Side.
He has published three non-fiction books in Italy – including one about an event in Milwaukee history, which was published in the U.S. in autumn 2010. Four more books, all about Milwaukee, have been published by The History Press.
With his most recent band, The Yell Leaders, Bobby released four LPs and had a songs featured in episodes of TV's "Party of Five" and "Dawson's Creek," and films in Japan, South America and the U.S. The Yell Leaders were named the best unsigned band in their region by VH-1 as part of its Rock Across America 1998 Tour. Most recently, the band contributed tracks to a UK vinyl/CD tribute to the Redskins and collaborated on a track with Italian novelist Enrico Remmert.
He's produced three installments of the "OMCD" series of local music compilations for OnMilwaukee.com and in 2007 produced a CD of Italian music and poetry.
In 2005, he was awarded the City of Asti's (Italy) Journalism Prize for his work focusing on that area. He has also won awards from the Milwaukee Press Club.
He has be heard on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee talking about his "Urban Spelunking" series of stories, in that station's most popular podcast.
