Hinterland Erie Street Gastropub, 222 E. Erie St., will launch Saturday lunch service beginning Saturday, April 2.

According to executive chef Matthew Kerley, new lunch menu will be comprised of weekday specials – including $5 pho, $3 tacos and fried chicken ($13) – along with a number of additional options including barbequed ribs ($12), a fish sandwich ($13) and a vegetable tartine featuring a toasted sourdough boule, beet bruschetta, shaved fennel, arugula, radish, avocado and feta for $13.

Happy hour beverages, including $3 Hinterland taps, a dealers choice cocktail at $5, and a selected white wine and red wine at $6 per glass, will also be available during lunch service.

In conjunction with the new Saturday lunch service, the restaurant will celebrate the release of its Cherry Wheat beer with a special tapping on April 2.

Lunch will be served on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a limited bar menu – including cheese and charcuterie, oysters and the Hinterland burger – offered between 3 and 5 p.m.
