An already busy summer of music in Milwaukee continues to provide something for everyone, as on Monday, a double-dose of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers announced a stop in Milwaukee this August.
After reuniting for a New Year’s Eve concert, Heart announced their first tour in five years on Monday, which includes a date at Fiserv Forum on Thursday, Aug. 15 with Midwest mainstays Cheap Trick as support. The show is part of the massive “Royal Flush 2024” tour, with more than 50 dates spanning the U.S., Canada and Europe.
Heart last played Fiserv Forum in 2019 on their “Love Alive” tour alongside Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, on what would be their last tour before sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson announced a hiatus for the band. In October, they reunited onstage at one of Ann’s solo shows to perform “Barracuda,” and there have since been rumblings that the sisters have been writing new material together.
Tickets for Heart and Cheap Trick are slated to go on sale this Friday, which you can pick up via Heart’s official website. You can also read more about the show at the Fiserv Forum website.
