The new "Fantastic Beasts" movie wasn't quite the Hogwarts homecoming you were hoping for? Well, this should do the trick: "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" is coming to the Riverside on Dec. 2-4, as a part of its ongoing film concert series with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.
As with the previous five movie screenings, the MSO will perform the iconic Harry Potter score live alongside the 2009 wizarding blockbuster, projected in HD onto a 40-foot screen on the Riverside stage.
Tickets for the trio of film concerts/screenings – 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 1 p.m. on Sunday – will go on sale beginning Friday, June 10 at 10 a.m. at the Pabst Theater Group's website.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
