ACV Detox Concoction
If you haven’t tried an ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) trick yet, this is the trick to try! And, yes it works! Drink this delicious ACV Detox Concoction before bed, and when you wake up, you'll feel a million times better. Hangovers aren’t the only things that ACV can cure. There have been many reports of weight loss, dropping blood pressure and cholesterol levels, stabilizing blood sugar, enhancing skin health and relieving acid reflux. With these benefits, it is no wonder why ACV is your go to option for a hangover.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz of water (hot or cold, whichever you prefer)
- 1 oz organic ACV
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp honey, blue agave syrup or maple syrup
- (optional: dash of cayenne pepper or ginger to help increase circulation and blood flow)
Dry brushing and oleation
Although our first instinct is to turn on the coffee pot, coffee can actually make your hangover symptoms worse. Most people turn to coffee after a night of drinking for the caffeine, but there are better ways to sympulate blood flow without making symptoms worse.
Have you ever tried dry brushing? Dry brushing improves vascular blood circulation and lymphatic drainage, meaning it will wake you up and release toxins from the night before. When dry brushing, you always want to work clockwise starting with your right foot and ending with your left foot. Use circular motions on your joints and back and forth motions on your limbs.
Don’t forget to lightly perform oleation after dry brushing. You will perform oleation the same way you dry brush, clockwise starting with your right foot. Oleation simultaneously pulls toxins out while protecting and nourishing the skin.
Epsom salt bath
Taking a hot bath with epsom salts is a great way to aid the detoxification process. The magnesium in epsom salt relaxes muscles and detoxes the body – including the liver. You will, however, want to make sure you drink lots of water if you decide to take an epsom salt bath with a hangover because you can get dehydrated. Everyone Products makes the best epsom salt bath blend for ultimate detoxing with the best essential oils. If you want to get really fancy, you could drink your ACV Detox Concoction and throw on your Rhonda Allison Milk Mask for the best hangover spa bath you’ll ever experience.
