How about one more AmFam Amp concert announcement for the day? Deal! The venue today announced Halsey will hit the stage during Summerfest on Saturday, July 2.
Halsey last performed in Milwaukee in 2018 at the Big Gig and was originally expected to make her return in 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the concert was shifted to 2021 before the pop star cancelled the remainder of her tour early that year with the state of live music events and large crowds still uncertain.
Tickets for the Halsey concert – also featuring special guests The Marias and Abby Roberts – will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 4. However, for those who previously purchased tickets for Halsey's cancelled "Manic" tour stop, there will be a special pre-sale running 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1 through 10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 3. For more information, visit Halsey's "Love and Power" tour website.
Halsey marks the third Summerfest headliner act on the 2022 schedule thus far, with country star Jason Aldean booked for June 23 – the three-weekend festival's opening day – and pop star Justin Bieber set for June 24.
Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more summer festival announcements to come.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
