It may be frosty right now, but before you know it, summer will be here – and Summerfest is getting you ready for those warm hot days with a new headliner announcement: Halsey, who take the new American Family Insurance Amphitheater stage with CHVRCHES and Omar Apollo on Friday, July 3. 

Halsey last performed at the Big Gig in 2018, co-headlining with Logic on an exceptionally warm June night. 

The 25-year-old pop star made her first splash in 2015 debut album "Badlands," featuring alt-pop radio hits like "New Americana," "Castle" and "Ghost." However, her big breakthrough would come the following year with her role as lead vocalist on the Chainsmokers' massive hit, "Closer." She rise to pop fame only continued after that Top 40 summer smash, though, releasing rawly emotional radio hits on the regular like "Bad at Love," "Without Me," "Nightmare" and "Graveyard." She's also cameoed in "A Star is Born" and "Teen Titans Go! to the Movies," as well as pulled double duty on "Saturday Night Live" last year as performer and host on Feb. 9.

Tickets for the show will go on sale to the public on Friday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com and the Summerfest box office.
