Milwaukee is a Halloween City with gobs of activities that range from eye-of-newt witchy to eat-candy easy. In plainer English, you can celebrate as much or as little as you want to – just get out there and enjoy the spookiest season of the year.

Halloween Pajama Jamboree Concert: “Tricks, Treats, and Transylvania”
Bradley Pavilion of the Marcus Performing Arts Center, 929 N Water St.

Geared toward children from K4 through fifth grade, the Pajama Jamboree series features lively music selections that tell a story or highlight the orchestra’s different sounds and colors. The Halloween concert will include thrilling, eerie and whimsical pieces that will enchant young and old alike. Casual dress is encouraged, and families are welcome to attend in costumes, bring teddy bears and blankets, and enjoy open-floor seating for an up-close experience. More here.

Weekend-long Halloween Party

Fom Thursday, Oct. 31 through Sunday, Nov. 3, the Original Gastrobar is pulling out all the stops with scary good deals featuring $5 Blue Moon drafts, $5 LTO Halloween-inspired shots and $9 Bavarian Pretzels.  Throughout October, Bar Louie is highlighting its Martini of the Month in support of its ongoing Cocktails for a Cause initiative featuring the Purple Reign Martini. Halloween Village
Baird Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave.

The outdoor attraction, which runs through Thursday, Oct. 31, features a seasonal scene for photo ops. Visitors can pose for pictures with a ghost, scarecrow, Frankenstein and witches, as well as walk through a giant 12-foot pumpkin. On Saturday, Oct. 26, the 3rd annual Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee will haunt the space from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The first 400 guests to attend will pick a free pumpkin, courtesy of Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market. Trick-or-treat goodie bags will also be available while supplies last.
