Milwaukee-based Goodland Extracts is launching a line of sugar-free sparkling waters.
The canned waters – which have 20mg of CBD per can and organic flavors – will be available in five flavors: citrus, mango, raspberry, orange and strawberry. They contain neither THC nor alcohol.
They are being distributed by Badger Liquor and will be available locally at Sendik’s and the Outpost, among other retailers, beginning in February.
Goodland , based in Bay View, also makes CBD tinctures, gummies, bitters and topicals, according to co-founder Ryan Pattee.
“We are four 20-year-plus friends who entered the hemp industry in 2019,” says Pattee.
His partners are William Boettcher, Eric Johnson and John Crockett.
“We wanted to offer the highest quality hemp products on the market, so over the last three years our chemist has been working on formulating a clear nano emulison.
“We have made it from Wisconsin-grown hemp. It is extracted in Milwaukee and bottled in Madison.
Pattee declined to name the co-packer that cans the water, “as we do not want to mix brands with theirs,” he adds. “We formulated (the waters) internally.”
Pattee says that Goodland has a range of recipes on its website for N/A mocktails and cocktails using the waters.
