The award-winning producers of feature film "Gettin' Grown" are set to debut Gettin' Grown TV, a new online television series made with the help of local kids from Chicago and Milwaukee.
GGTV was produced on location in Chicago and Milwaukee and follows three inner-city friends and chronicles obstacles they face in their daily lives, including trying out different plans for making money, dealing with a neighborhood bully, balancing the demands of their parents with the demands of their friends and other kid-centric and family-friendly situations.
The series premieres today at 4 p.m. and will air weekly on GGTV's website. In addition to finding new weekly episodes, viewers can also contribute to the show online via social networking, interactive features and contributions to be included in future episodes.
