The Wisconsin State Fair yesterday released their first headliner for 2023 with Alabama – and they wasted no time announcing their second, revealing today that Christian pop act For King & Country will take the Main Stage on Monday, Aug. 7.
The four-time Grammy-winning brother tandem behind Christian hits like "God Only Knows," "Joy" and "Burn the Ships" are no strangers to the State Fair, previously headlining in 2017 and 2019, as well as performing a drive-in concert in 2020. The band will be joined on their latest State Fair stop by opening act Katy Nichole.
Tickets for For & King Country on the Main Stage will go on sale starting Friday, Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. at the Wisconsin State Fair's website. Seats are reserved, with tickets ranging in price from $41 to $46 and $51.
Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more Wisconsin State Fair announcements as well as other summer festival updates.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
