If brisket grilled cheese sandwiches, burgers topped with cheddar and bacon jam, and chive fries loaded with braised pork and cheese sauce sound delectable, plan a trip to Roll MKE stat.
Luckily, the popular eatery on wheels is super easy to find. It'll be parked at many events this season – from the Night Market to beer gardens.
"We are everywhere around southeastern Wisconsin this summer," says Justin Kling, who owns Roll MKE and Pig Tailz with business partner Jordan Stewart. "There's no limit to the events we can do."
Type of food: Sandwiches, loaded fries
What are the most popular menu items? The brisket grilled cheese, the Milwaukee burger and the loaded pork fries.
Do you have vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options? Yes, we have a Portobello mushroom sandwich.
Where can people find your truck this summer? We have many dates and locations. The best way to keep track of us is through the updated calendar on our website.
If you could park your truck anywhere (anywhere!) for one day, where would it be? I would love to park my food truck inside Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. We do concerts at The Rave and Summerfest, but to work a reggae or hip hop concert inside Red Rocks would be the pinnacle experience.
