Love food trucks? So do we! So much so that OnMilwaukee partnered with Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. to bring the first MKE Food Truck Fest to Henry Maier Festival Park in July. Find out more here.
Ron and Chrissy Stroli started sharing their authentic Middle Eastern recipes via their food truck in 2012. Today, they also operate an eatery at the Mequon Public Market.
"With the increasing demand, we decided to open a restaurant so we could offer our specialties year-round," says Chrissy.
Falafel Guy's menu is simple and made-from scratch, using fresh ingredients and quality imported spices. Items include falafel, schwarma, kabobs, hummus, baba ganoush and more.
Type of food: Middle Eastern
Most popular item: Falafel and chicken schwarma
Vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options: Falafel Guy's falafel is gluten free.
Where can people find your truck this summer? "Our food truck spends time in Whitefish Bay, Cedarburg, festivals, private events and lots of beer gardens. We post a weekly schedule online so people know where to find us," says Chrissy.
If you could park your truck anywhere for one day where would it be? "New York City!"
