Dec. 1 is the 35th annual observation of World AIDS Day, a global movement to unite communities in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

In recognition of the annual event, Flour Girl & Flame,  8121 W. National Ave. in West Allis has partnered with Vivent Health to launch the Hopeful Harvest Pizza, a specialty pizza which will raise funds for Vivent Health’s efforts to assist those living with HIV in Milwaukee to receive the medical care they need and deserve.

Hopeful Harvest Pizza features a pimento cheese base, Wisconsin mozzarella, Nueske's smoked pepper bacon, peppadews, wood-roasted garlic, caramelized delicata squash, house bourbon barrel honey and scallions. Each component represents a different aspect of hope, unity and resilience. The honey symbolizes the diversity of people coming together to support the cause.

The pizzas will be available for purchase for $24 each Nov. 30 through Dec. 3 and Dec. 7-10. For each pizza sold. Flour Girl & Flame will donate 20% of the sale to Vivent Health.

Pizzas will be available for both dine-in and carry-out. Order at flourgirlandflame.com
