Wauwatosa's football bowling entertainment center, 1st and Bowl, continues to expand its offerings with two indoor pickleball courts, two golf simulator bays and a turf wiffle ball field.
1st and Bowl is best known for football bowling, along with its Nerf arena and other games. The complex opened in 2019 and is located at 2969 N. 114th St.
“As we head into Wisconsin’s colder weather season, we wanted to make sure we offer the games that our customers want to play indoors,” said Bryan MacKenzie, co-owner. “Pickleball is arguably one of the fastest growing sports in the area and we are excited to join the momentum and let guests continue their play inside here."
Here's more information about the new activities:
- Indoor Pickleball Courts: Two regulation-size indoor pickleball courts are now available by reservation. Pricing starts at $30/hour for an indoor court rental and use of paddles and balls. Drop-in open play, tournaments and expanded weekday hours are coming soon.
- Golf Simulators: Two golf simulator bays allow players to virtually tee off at one of dozens of courses across the United States. Pricing starts at $35/hour per golf simulator bay. Golf club rental is available. Indoor golf leagues and expanded weekday hours are coming soon.
- Wiffle ball: A new turf wiffle ball field can accommodate teams of various sizes and ages. Adult wiffle ball leagues are currently in session and a waitlist for the next session is available.
1st and Bowl will soon offer all-inclusive membership as well as specific memberships for golf and pickleball that include members-only time slots, advanced bookings, member tournaments and discounted food and beverage.
“Our mission is to deliver an affordable and fun entertainment experience for friends and families alike,” says MacKenzie. “We have had so much fun dreaming up these new additions with our customers’ enjoyment in mind."
1st and Bowl can accommodate groups of all ages, up to 400 guests and with a full-service bar and kitchen.
