Official attendance figures won't be announced for a couple days, but we know that more people were arrested at Summerfest 2007 than the year before.

Milwaukee Police Department spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz said 450 people were arrested during the 11-day run of the festival. There were 628 chargest brought, including 284 for possession of alcohol by an underage person and 216 for possession of a controlled substance.

Of the 450 people arrested, 290 were from outside Milwaukee County.

Last year, 389 people were arrested on a total of 440 charges.
